    Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 [Guide]


    Do not UPDATE your Wii.
    Update = SoftMod Gone

    YOU CAN GET THIS GAME RUNNING BY USING A cIOS WITH A BASE ios of 57


    Note - If you have used Mauifrog's guide to modify your lovely Wii then you should have already installed the correct configuration to run the game.

    Select in your USB Loader - cIOS 250 (57)
    Or - Hermes cIOS 224 (57)

    If you are not Soft Modded and would like to be then use Mauifrog's "Mod Any Wii Guide" Look -->     Here.


    If you are unsure if you have the correct cIOS then run a syscheck using this guide and check. (Thanks to Shift_Lock)

    So this is what you are looking for in your syscheck


    I don't have the correct cIOS--How do I install it?

      What you have to do (as minimum) is in the guide. Nobody said remove NeoGamma but it does say have a specific cIOS with a specific base and specific loaders. Reading is paramount, and it would appear you've not actually read the guide based on that question.

      Is there a way to transfer game data such as profile and online play from old wii to new wii?

      I think you can just use an SD card.

      Hi all
      Great guide!
      I Recently updated my softmod just for this game, currently running 4.1e and mod up to date. I selected iOS 250 and the game did play fine, I'm playing the career mode and after one days play and three levels I think I tried loading the game again through USB loader gx but all I get is a black screen, I changed iOS to 249 I get past the health screen and it hangs on the loading screen, iv re ripped the game from my original disc but no success. Has anyone got any ideas? Is it a corrupt save game or does that only happen in co op play? Really stuck any help is much appreciated!

      Have you updated your cIOS pack to the newest version? There is a link on the first page in a spoiler that leads you to the downloads. Also try using CFG Loader, it seems to be the most compatible. I switched to it a few years ago and never looked back.

      Hi,
      Thank you for your suggestions I will try all the above and let you know how I get on, I did update my mod about a month ago, I guessed it was bang up to date but I will re do it just incase it's not. It's odd how it did work and now stopped working considering I didn't touch the load settings or the softmod it's self. Maybe an alternative loader is the way to go.

      Hi, i have another issue when i want to play Call of Duty MWF here. when i try using Neogama its says "iOS reload blocked" and i can't play the game. is there something wrong with my iOS can anybody help me here ?

      Have you done a Wii System update? If so, you shouldn't have. Download the newest cIOS pack from page 1 of this thread and try the game after installing that.

      No, i never do a Wii System update i'm to afraid to do that. Should i uninstalling the old version cIOS from my Wii ?

      When you install the newest cIOS, the old ones will be overwritten.

      since the guide says i should use ios 250(57) d2x6, does that mean ima have to downgrade from d2x8 to the d2x6?

      You have to give some information about what your doing. Are you loading with a USB loader, backup disc, or retail disc? There isn't any need to change your cIOS to the d2x6, the d2x8 pack should work fine.
