    Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 [Guide]

    Do not UPDATE your Wii.
    Update = SoftMod Gone

    YOU CAN GET THIS GAME RUNNING BY USING A cIOS WITH A BASE ios of 57

    Note - If you have used Mauifrog's guide to modify your lovely Wii then you should have already installed the correct configuration to run the game.

    Select in your USB Loader - cIOS 250 (57)
    Or - Hermes cIOS 224 (57)

    If you are not Soft Modded and would like to be then use Mauifrog's "Mod Any Wii Guide" Look -->
    Here.

    If you are unsure if you have the correct cIOS then run a syscheck using this guide and check. (Thanks to Shift_Lock)

    So this is what you are looking for in your syscheck

    I don't have the correct cIOS--How do I install it?

    BackUp Disc Loading

      OK, so I bought a Sandisk 8GB memory stick, loaded the .iso using the FAT32 guide, & still doesn't play when I launch USB loader GX. I have it set to cios 250, but when I lauch USB loader GX, it shows cios 250 r21007. & then goes back to the main menu. I just softmodded my wii a few days ago, so everything should be up to date. What am I missing?

      Are you ripping the game to your desktop hard drive, then moving it onto the flash drive?

      What DVD drive are you using to rip the game with?

      @frankieD

      You may have a bad rip of the game, try re-ripping.

      It looks like your USB loader is having problems loading into 250. Try installing d2x if you haven't already.

      Is it the fact that I had to instruct him in the first place on the orange light or that there was a response that says how to turn it back off.

      The latter lol. I about fell out of my chair laughing when I saw that, still chuckling about it! A fine example of restating what was already said lmao.

      Actually, I haven't loaded d2x. If you look at the thread, I asked if my cios should be up to date, since I just softmodded my wii a couple of days ago & jizzle confirmed that everything should be up to date. That being said, I'm assuming that cios 250 should have a base of 57, but I don't know how to confirm that.

      Here is the guide to running and posting a syscheck. Check it out. If you have the flash drive, you should just format it to the WBFS file system with USBLoader GX and then install the game with your Wii optical drive.

      The first page states that ALL in game updates are safe! It is NOT safe to do a Wii System Update. If you don't know the difference, you shouldn't be doing it. So to re-state one again. YES!!! IT'S SAFE!!!

      just modded a wii today using ModMii I then installed the 2 wad's from post 1 and got a little further it went from just loading .... screen to showing the Call of Duty MW3 logo in the bottom corner and it just sits there I've attached the syscheck if someone can tell me what i'm doing wrong as i've tried it several times to no avail using cfg usb loader and usb loader gx using 250 or 224 does the same thing

      The other thing is when i installed via ModMii it listed a newer version of 250 and 224 wad files should they work or should I be I guess downgrading them

      Spoiler

      Really need to know which version of CFG you are using and which specific cIOS you are using. CFG should work great with the 250 that you have although v7 is out now. I would also recommend using the "Softmod any Wii" guide located here. It is FAR better than Modmii. If all else fails, make sure you installed your game correctly to your hard drive. Sometimes, deleting the game and re-installing it helps.
