    Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 [Guide]


    Do not UPDATE your Wii.
    Update = SoftMod Gone

    YOU CAN GET THIS GAME RUNNING BY USING A cIOS WITH A BASE ios of 57


    Note - If you have used Mauifrog's guide to modify your lovely Wii then you should have already installed the correct configuration to run the game.

    Select in your USB Loader - cIOS 250 (57)
    Or - Hermes cIOS 224 (57)

    If you are not Soft Modded and would like to be then use Mauifrog's "Mod Any Wii Guide" Look -->     Here.


    If you are unsure if you have the correct cIOS then run a syscheck using this guide and check. (Thanks to Shift_Lock)

    So this is what you are looking for in your syscheck


    I don't have the correct cIOS--How do I install it?

      nono i put the wad in the sd and the ninstall them but when i go to usb loader gx 2.0 i cant find the 224 or 250(i have 250 but its not based on 57

      look i tried everything the guide said and still i cant find 224 or 250 base 57 cios in usb loader gx please undesrtand my prob and dont direct me to read the guides

      if you cant take the time to read and follow guides then go somewhere else.. the any wii guide will fix your issues and so will cjizzle suggestion.

      Well it plays absolutely fine for me using cios 224 or 250.....
      I also don't remember GX 2.0 being confirmed as a working loader. Until someone confirms it you will have to use a revision that is confirmed working.

      Post a syscheck in a spoiler and we will see what is going on... If you have both the cios(s) installed then I would try the latest GX revision.

      Yeah, I had to switch to CFG finally. I used USBloader GX for a long time and switched to Wiiflow. Then my kid got used to Wiiflow, which is why I didn't switch to CFG sooner. I love it, though, and he is used to it now. All it takes is a little reading of the guide and things could be so simple. He should prolly use the d2xinstaller package as it installs all the cIOS and bases. I know installing different cIOS the the incorrect base can be PROBLEMATIC!

      Hi I have a weird problem here. My wii is modded with mauifrogs guide and so is my friends ( i done both) Im no noob and my wii works 100% and will play ant backup i through at it. Now the problem is my friends one i have just updated tonight as it was hacked over a year ago so needed done for the newer games. So i done it using my card i have setup with all the files i kept my wii upto date with. Now thw strange thing is the friends wii wont play MW3 it just gets past the nunchuck screen to the black screen that should have the MW3 icon in the corner but on this one it just says loading with the 1,2,3 dots keep going. I've tryed HDD and disk also with same result. Now both work fine in my wii but just get stuck on the other. Something else ive noticed is that black ops gets stuck at the same screen but other games seem to work fine. My friend uses disks for backups so i know its nothing to do with the dvd drive as all other games he has inc retail work fine. STUMPED please help!

      again it says in the first post that both wii s are modded with mauifrogs guide (the most upto date one) yet one wii plays everything and the other one wont play the 2 COD games i mentioned

      Thought you said one was black screen, the other stuck loading.

      Either way, it's not telling us if you are using the correct method and loading the correct cios. Also it has it's own special thread for a reason.

      my wii plays everything 100% the other wii will load both games past the white screen with the controller on it and then sticks at the next black screen with the word loading in the bottom left corner. only seems to be on these two COD games. world at war and modern warfare reflex work fine on the friends wii, just seems to be MW3 and Black ops

      A cIOS is installed to a slot not a base. The base is the IOS the cIOS is based on. So you can't install different cIOS to the same base. If your referring to installing them in the same slot then that's not problematic either as it just overwrites the previously installed cIOS. Just clarifying as what you said above might be confusing for someone new to this.
