• USB Loader GX 2.3

USB Loader GX 2.3 released. This new public release includes some new features, changed, and fixed features. See below for more info and download links.

    New:
    - Added the possibility to use the internal Wii System Menu font (thanks to giantpune and r-win).
    - Added proper message to install progress bar to show when install is really finished.
    - Added a GUI option for Play count display.
    - Added "Remember Unlock" option in parental control menu to set whether the lock should always be enabled on launch if a password is set.
    - Added Priiloader override on returning to Wii System Menu.
    - Added different hooktype and wiird debugger (Thanks to GeckoOS for the sources).
    - Added NAND emulation to redirect Wii NAND access to SD or USB. Default NandEmu path set to sd:/nand/ (Requires d2x cIOS v7 alpha or later).
    * Partial emulation: Load and save the game saves to the NandEmu path instead of the Wii internal memory.
The Mii, Wiimote configuration and Wii settings are loaded from the real Wii.

Attention: if you play on someone else's Wii, you'll need to use your own Wiimote and network might not work.

    - Using new app_booter for homebrew booting (see WiiXplorer changelog).
    - Reload back to entry IOS when starting homebrew instead of starting it in cIOS.
    - Removed limit of .csv and .txt game list creation.
    - Entered characters for the password field are now hidden.
    - Improved detection of not existing cheat txt files.
    - Forwarder: Centered the background image and corrected the aspect ratio.

    Fixes:
    - Fixed META.XML format.
    - Disabled try to mount of drive when no disc is inserted.
    - Fixed issue with file browser not jumping back to first directory entry on directory change.

Not to sound like a idiot or anything, but how do you use this feature (NAND Emu)? I just recently found Mighty Channels and messed with it for about 2 days and got it working nicely. Then today I was messing with USBloader GX and seen there was an update and it now has NAND Emu and I don't know how to use it lol.
Any help, suggestions would be very appreciated.

You have d2x cIOS v7 alpha installed?

      I currently have d2x v6
And I had just recently updated to that.

It says you need d2xv7 for the nand emulation function. However, it seems to be working fine with d2xv6 on my wii with partial emulation selected. I am going to put v7 in there anyhow because if it all craps out on v6 it will be my own fault for not following directions. I am not sure it does the things mighty channels does, still exploring the possibilities myself.

Add me to this list also, i tried it out and need to know if it is only for save games or does it allow to load VC/WW off of it. It sounds like VC/WW if full emulation but I could not ge tthis to work....

Is there actually instructions for the updated GX? I've looked around a bit today and couldn't find anything. Mostly got pointed back to the USBGX website, and all that is there is the revisions and the downloads.

And also, I agree with "aevans0001" that with a NAND Emu it should load and play VC/WW games through GX. At least you think it would..

No actual instructions that I know of, I have looked too. The nand emulation is only for gamesaves right now, I would assume that eventually it will support wiiware/vc but it doesn't seem to yet.

I may be wrong, but have not found a way to get back to the main menu and have it be from the emulated nand.

I don't understand this then.. What is the difference what is everything else?

I'm confused about this NAND Feature (Partial emulation: Load and save the game saves to the NandEmu path instead of the Wii internal memory.).. I try to backup a saved file to the nand then move the saved file to the SD Card then when i load the game there is no saved file to be loaded.. I'm on d2x v7 and i try both ways.. the partial and the full...
