• PS Jailbreak - The first PS3 Modchip

PS Jailbreak is a USB plug and play solution that installs in seconds, keeping your valid warranty seal in tact.

Easy to use installer and GUI takes you step by step.

Compatible with all production models FAT and SLIM. Supports all regions: USA, JAP, PAL and KOREA

PS Jailbreak disables forced software updates and will never brick your console.

Supports all games (it does not allow backups of bluray movies , dvd movies , or past consoles games)

Backup games to your internal hard drive or external hard drive through USB, and boot directly off GUI. Eliminating the need for expensive blueray burners and costly blank media.

Play backups off your hard drives 2x as fast as off the blueray drive. This eliminates lags and glitches to provide you with smoother game play.

Open up your console to a new generation of homebrew applications. Load homebrew apps/games off any USB hard drive/flash drive.

Fully updatable with new features/updates by connecting PS Jailbreak to any computers USB port.

I don't feel the need to Hack my PS3. All games are region free and wouldn't this kinda stuff need a BD burner? Too much clarting on I say.

it can play online but sony will likely be able to detect and ban you from psn so really id keep it offline and possibly have a different ps3 for online play if you even play ps3 online ... most people getting this dont mind if they cant use psn later, i mean really its a worthy sacrifice

You don't need a BD burner. This just install original game copies to the console's HDD.

this is infact already detectable by sony, they way it was created means that the guy who created it, really only made the backup part of the software, the rest was brought from a sony employee, so yes, sony will probs just ban those who use it when they log on, sometime during the next update too, so id only do this on a console you really dont care about

you aint kidding. i already have a pc that runs games as well as the ps3. not to mention you can jtag or chip a 360 cheaper. if i had a ps3, i would be interested since i don't, it would be ALOT cheaper to get a 360 used from ebay/craigslist or somewhere and chip it. this will be a big seller i'm sure. it's not for i'm just to darned cheap to lol.

I think its a little overpriced too. $169.99 for just protecting the Blu-Ray Drive laser.

they are selling for as low as 65-70 usd atm
regardless the price... with the new forced update, renders it useless, if above 3.41

I thought if you installed this to a given unit before any update, it can block said update. I'm not following it too close, but it's interesting and probably only a matter of time til "trickle down" tech makes it more bulletproof and useful to the masses.

I haven't heard anything about a safe update even post chip. I would imagine it would still kill it. As far as price, there are many other ways to skin this cat since they released their code. A couple cell phones, TI 84+ Calculator, and rumor is soon the Ipone will work. I think it works now but can't run backup manager. I think you're right about the flood is about to begin on this scene.
