Wii Balance Board sync with Mac for center of pressure (cp) calculation

Dear members,

As you all know, the WBB is composed by 4 unidirectional load cells, through which the center of pressure position may be calculated instantaneously (with a maximum frequency of 60Hz), other 'balance' or 'postural' parameters (such as the gravity line or center of gravity projection may also be extracted).

With PCs, some .dll are available to retrieve the data from the 4 load cells through Bluetooth synchronization (using MATLAB for instance), however I have no clue if it's possible to do the same with mac computers!

Does anyone have any idea on how to sync WBB with mac computers and how can we code to extract the data from the 4 load cells?

It is open source so Im pretty sure some of the code will be of use to your. Its not exactly what you are looking for but will make a great base for you project.

Actually I've already developed an application on PC and look forward to transpose it to mac (then iPad/iPhone)... since more practical for medical doctors.
