Well I recieved my order today (last day before before needed as a gift) so I would say no one should be concerned about not getting their order. Just be prepared to wait up to 2 weeks for it. Also I was not pleased about not recieving a response to my email inquiries. Would I order again from this company? .. Maybe, but next time I will give another company a try.

Thanks Canadamods

ordered a d2pro w/ clip on jan 8th and got it jan 23rd which was no problem for me since i had plenty of other things to keep me busy. i followed the excellent video for the install and my lights blinked differently than the video but a quick search here and found out different chips have different blinks so i boxed it back up and have tried 4 backups and since i searched here on how to do a backups they all worked like a champ. anyway thank you canadamods for the quality hardware and instructions and thank you wii hacks for this forum of information.

fyi, i picked canadamods to get my chip since they do jump in forums like this and get their hands dirty trying to help people out, hard to find that kind of help these days. even if it means waiting a little longer to get my stuff it was worth it.

thanks all of you guys for what you do!

I received my D2Pro9 chip, took 2 weeks or so...

When I ordered the D2Pro I assumed they would ship it out the next business day just like any other business. I was a little annoyed they waited a couple days to ship it out. When I received the chip it was just in a padded envelope with the triwing, so I don't see how it could have taken so long to mail out.

That being said, I ordered the wii-clip on the 22nd. I received the email approving my order, but nothing on shipping. So far it has been 4 business days, nearly a full business WEEK, with NOTHING said to me about shipping. I don't know if this is standard procedure or what, but it's getting rediculous. From what I've read in this thread this is becoming the norm.

To whoever said canadamods was cheapest:

modchip-depot.com has the D2Pro 9. It comes with a triwing, the 30 gauge wire to solder the chip, solder, and even the soldering braid. All this for $5 CHEAPER than the canadamods site. Oh, and they have free shipping as well. Only the chip is included on canadamods, and the triwing (which is free at the other place, with the purchase of the D2Pro) was another $9.

Once I get my wii modded (whenever the clip gets here), my friend will be looking to mod his. I WON'T be recommending he order anything from canadamods.

I don't see how anyone has ever had an issue with these people. I got my two D2pro9's soldered to my clips within amazing time, but the triwings were forgot. I let them know that and I recived two right away. Also why did you order that chip and then the clip? Also have you ever talked to Spyman?

Got it in and working, playing backups no problem. My problem isn't with the people, but the time it took for them to ship the stuff. No, I have never talked to spyman.

I have to say that "thank you to Canadamod they were very helpful, I must have exchanged 20 emails about two wii's that i had questions on. They created a custom order and the delivery time was a week which is what I expected since they are in canada. I would recommend them to anyone. I installed both this weekend and things are looking good so far. Now I just need help with the homebrew side of things.
Regards,

On time and working

I ordered what I needed, their website is fairly clear as to what you need to specify if you're going to order a clip and a mod chip pre-soldered.

I did what I had to do and 2 days later, it was at my door, installed it, turn it on and good to go.

Never had a problem.

As for their tech service, I can't say, I never had to get a hold of them since it works perfectly.

I have to say these guys were FANTASTIC! They answered ever email quesition and even created me a custom order form to make it ever easier. I did not recieve any emails or calls back from other vendors but canadamods.ca!
Their video installs and help with questions (by email) were very easy to follow.
I would recommend to anyone. And I will go back to them if I need anything else.
Regards,
Mike (stimpy2300)
