I did a lot of research on their reputation and this was definitely an unexpected and unfortunate "one off". The normal turnaround was actually better than I had expected.
JoeUser1234, It is good to hear you received your order and it is working. Hopefully I can report the same, however I just placed my order on the 12/1. I'm already building my inventory of games so I'm ready to play when all is done.
Canada Mods is great! I went to the store to get mine done and I met Spyman face to face. He is a good guy and he is good at what he does. You can trust him with your Wii and I would recommend him to all my friends.
Both my girlefriends sister and I had our Wii's moded there and have had no issues, they work great.
when an *item* is shipped from canada to destinations in the us...the time it take to reach the destination may vary alot.
example: sent 4 seperate packages ...all at the same time at same PO, all the same size and everything to 4 different places in cali...
now get this...delivered times
we thought #4 was lost
- 1st 0ne delivered took 3 days
- 2nd delivered was 5 days
- 3rd was 6 days
- 4th took for some reason 12 days but did get delivered

My Wiizard and Triwing set just shipped today! Man, I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. My son keeps asking if I am going to mod the Wii. Boy will he be surprised soon.
I got my chip yesterday, I got the tracking number dec 1st ( the day I ordered). It didn't start working on usps.com until the 9th... it arrived the 11th... I installed my chip no problems from the video. I didn't check to make sure the lights worked before I put it back together. I tried loading a backup and it wouldn't play. I had to take it all back apart and making sure the clip was on there right. This time I powered it up to make sure the lights worked. Now it's working fine the only problem is I have spare parts, the two tiniest screws I couldn't remember where they went. Oh well it's doing what I want it to do.

I would like to say how pleased I was with the service I received from CanadaMods. They took care of me immediately and I am extremely appreciative.
Shipping times I'm completely happy with canadamods, but definitely expect some delays in shipping time if you are in the US. Took about 7 days to process through customs. After that tracking the package was easy using the confirmation email from Canadamods.
I must say that CanadaMods and Spyman are wonderful. He, and wiihacks, have helped me from the beginning. Shipping was fine for me especially considering the time of year and other obstacles. I will recommend them to all of my friends.
Shipping delays happen, Canadamods is legit and SPyman offers great support if you can go in person. I wish he could give an invite to ntorrent with every purchase
