For Sale: D2Pro v2 Mod Chip
I bought this about a month ago for my wii, and my wii turned out to be a d2c2 wii so I cannot use this. Its virtually brand new except I put it on a solderless clip and tried it, needless to say my wii didnt work. The chip still works.

the alternative 2.1 firmware just got released, it is for the users who are having problems with the d2c and d2c2 wiis.

So if I update the chip with the new firmwire, its d2c2 compatible? Keep in mind this isnt the rev2 chip, its the old v2 chip.

Yes, I believe that is correct. The D2Pro9 V2 with Firmware 2.1 is now the latest. It makes more confusing when the makers (d2pro) are just bad at nameing their products, for instance, now they have an Alternate firmware 2.1 which is different to firmware 2.1. And there really isn't anyone who knows for a fact who should be updating to latest Actel firmware and the latest SPI flash firmware. Its a total mess.
