If you bought it in September, 2009 it's highly unlikely to have SM3.2 (and just as highly likely to have D3-2 drive and no BootMii/boot2 capability). I'm saying this as a selling/buying point, you might want to double-check your facts so that folks will actually have an informed purchase. You might've gotten old stock, but you seem to lack to the motivation to verify a couple essential things.

True that, it's 4.1U - don't know what I was thinking. Also, thought BootMii was different than being boot2 capable. If I go into the HackMii installer it says that BootMii: can only be installed as an IOS.

Otherwise I have the NeoGamma Backup Loader installed.

Where is it that you can reflash a NAND?

    Thanks for the info.

Not sure if you're getting my replies, it's not really saying my message is sent and I have no messages in my sent box, are you?

I did get your PM (four times, hehe) - 4.1U - so it can't play newer games then? I just softmodded a new 4.3U so I assume I could upgrade and re-mod it the same way I did the new one? All I really need this one to do is play back-up games from a hard drive... basically want a duplicate system for my living room that I've now set up in the basement media room... if there are potential problems/pitfalls with such a basic scenario please let me know.

All Wiis are capable of playing via USB HD. Why on earth would you want to "upgrade" it (assumption being 4.1->4.3)? Anything past 4.1 is strictly anti-piracy and no user-benefit.

nightstah, you're right, my newbieness was showing. I thought he said something about it not being able to play newer games because of that, but that's silly... as long as it will play my EA Sports Active 2 and similar, I shall be a happy camper.
