I received the unit as defective and found the only issue with it to be a stuck Sync button. After cleanup and some TLC the console now works perfectly.
It comes with 4.2 installed along with some of the old demos (only available before Nintendo pulled them from the Shop channel). No save data was present. I've updated the IOS on the console by accepting the update off a NSMBW disc, so it is ready to play out of the box.
The Wii has no homebrew installed of any kind and is a Bootmii/IOS compatible console. Serial is LU63. It has a GC2-D2E drive, so it can be modified to read backup discs and other dvd media through softmod or a modchip.
This is a great chance to pick up a spare Wii to give to the kids, to use as a backup or replacement, or to tinker around on.
Bonus!
As a special BONUS for Wiihacks members I will, at your request, softmod and setup the console with any homebrew material you specify (Excludes VC/Wiiware aside from the demos already installed). However, unless requested, the console will come as is.
*Note - I can and will gladly set the firmware on this console to 4.1 at your request.
Also, every console I provide comes with your very own ITHIAN Mii available in the Mii channel -- So Cute!!! :)
