So, to get this at correct point, I start at chapter 1 with the spoiler - Softmods with Homebrew installed correct? Just complete chapter 1 then onto chapter 2 etc.

I just don't want to have to send this out to get fixed if I have to and want to make sure I start at the correct point to be able to get things going. I don't think bootmii installed as boot2 though, I was able to get into it though.

Yes. Start with HBC already installed, and then follow the rest of the guide. All of it. Dont skip. Dont make up steps. Dont try to use a 4 gig card.

Ok, thanks. I have a 1 gig or a 2 gig SD card to use to do this, they are older ones and the 1 gig was originally in the Wii for other things. If I can get a chance to work on it tonight I will at least post back the status of it or if I run into a snag or something. Only thing is family comes first so have to take care of that before I can "play" with this, or at least get the kids in bed first so can do it without interrupti

Ok, was looking around the forums and on the home page I stumble upon ModMii... Is this a good solution to do or should I just continue as before? Seems a whole lot simpler to do...

Well, just to do update to this, Followed the guide from where told to start and everything went as it should, no problems... Everything went as it should and even got my 8 gig jumpdrive to finally register in one of the loaders to play games off of. Now to work on getting larger hard drive to backup all the games I have and put onto it so the kids don't wreck any more of them.

Thanks to all of you who pointed me in the right direction and doing it was just as simple as rooting a phone, a few more steps, but just as simple. The guide i originally started with did not give any insight as to what is actually supposed to be done just 'do this, then do this, then this and you're done' The guide on here is way better and complete to follow and even though there is some other stuff in it that I probably wouldn't of installed, but will probably learn more on it and will eventually use it.

    Thanks again for the help!
