black screen brick
i bricked my wii a year ago and left it because i gave up on fixing it. i dont exactly rmeber what i did to make it brick but i was being stupid and following a guide that would un-hack my wii that was designed for an earlier version of my wii, of course i went on, knowing deep down soemthing would go wrong. the wii shut itself down and whenever i turn it on it appears with a black screen and nothing else. i followed every step in maufrog's guide to softmod it, so i think i have everything installed... although i dont have the sd card with all the apps and programs on it but i do have a jumbled folder of copies of the sd card and i do have a few nand backups... if there is a fix just tell me what i need and i should have it. i know there isnt a big chance to fix it but i thought id post this just incase someone knew how to fix my problem
thanks in advance

If you have a NAND back-up, then it can always be fixed (unless it's the hardware). You can do the following:
- Turn on the wii and watch how many times the disc drive light flashes. If it flashes twice quickly, then you can use bootmii to fix your wii.
- If you don't have bootmii/boot2, you can try holding reset when you turn on the wii. If you can launch priiloader, then you can use it to fix the brick.
- If that doesn't work, you can try savemiifrii.
- If savemiifrii doesn't work, a hardware NAND flasher can be used to flash the NAND back-up to the NAND. You can do this yourself (if you have a NAND flasher), or have it done by a wiihacks member (for a price of course).

Savemiifrii might work or it might not. It's impossible to tell without trying first. If you still remembered what you did, we could have made an educated guess, but since you don't, it's anyone's guess. Just try it and pray for the best! If savemiifrii doesn't work, go for option 4.
