Fully Bricked Wii with Black Screen of Death with Bootmii and NAND backup
So the other day, I found these colors for the system menu. So i tried to get DarkWii Blue from Modmii for 4.1 ( I forget if i have 4.1U or 4.2U). So i forgot to check before downloading it. So i downloaded as a .wad. Installed with IOS250 (cuz i installed IOS250 before i installed the color). After it finished, it restarted but it didn't go to the system menu but ended up with the Black Screen Of Death. So after that, i went online and found out that i fully bricked my wii. So when i installed HBC(about in September or October), i went straight to bootmii and made a NAND backup (luckily). And i think the only way you can install bootmii is as boot2.
Now i'm being told to go to bootmii but i don't even know how cuz the only way i know is through HBC. Then i was told that bootmii helps you delete the file that broke the wii. But i just shoved the sd card into my computer and deleted the .wad. Then i shoved the sd back into my wii, turned it on but still was at the BSOD. If anyone has had this happen, and got their wiis unbricked WITHOUT sending it to NINTENDO please post here. their bootmii.ini i think could be useful oh and if they used a modchip to unbrick their wii, PLEASE TALK TO THE HAND IF YOU USED A MODCHIP
