Bought a Wii and is Bricked HELP!

Hey guy i just bought a Wii for $20 from a market, i turned it on today for the first time and it has that black screen of death, i tried many of the youtube tuts putting the wad files onto my SD card and nothing has happened when i press A, screen just stayed black. Also tried hitting reset after the power switch is pressed all it does is reset the Wii back to the starting screen.

Iv searched all over the forums and youtube, couldn't find anything that works.

Not even sure what version, etc.

Try loading priiloader by holding reset, then power on while holding reset
Try loading maintenance mode by holding + -, then press A while holding + - at the health screen.
Load savemiifrii, see what version is displayed in the lower right corner, if it says 3.2/3.3k your screwed.
Remove sd cards, dvd disc, usb, and boot the wii, look to see if the blue led drive light flashes once or twice. Twice would indicate boot2 bootmii.

As long as savemiifrii does not say your have 3.2/3.3k, you can fix it.

Go to the wii settings and do a system format.
