You bricked your system menu by installing a corrupt theme.

I'm assuming you don't have Priiloader, Bootmii, or a NAND backup?

What System Menu are you on?

I did have a nand backup somewhere but i have a original first edition wii with 4.0 i believe and no i did not have priiloader or bootmii

But again it could be possible that it is corrupt because when it does start the pointer doesnt show up on the screen

Do savemiifrii, it will give your sm version in the lower right corner. Then put an in region disc in the wii, one with a disc update higher than what you have. So if you have 4.0, you need a disc update with 4.1+. NSMB has 4.1, SMG2 has 4.2, there are many others. When you put the disc in let it sit for awhile. It should update your wii and fix the issue. All you need is a gc controller and a retail disc with the update, no modchip required.
