    Bricked after nand restore

I was doing a nand restore through bootmii.
It was installed as an ios. Apparently the backup was incorrect or something because it black screened on me.
I keep trying savemiifrii, disassembled my gamecube controller and such, turn it on wait about 2 seconds to push all the directions. still no gravy.
I can turn on the wii with the remote still.
I'm not sure what kind of brick this is considered, but any help would be helpful.

I was considering getting infectus, but the serial number inst boot2 compatible so im unsure if it would help me at all.

How did you manage to install your nand if you had Bootmii installed as IOS? If you can't get savemii to load then your pretty much out of luck as that is what we call a full brick.

I hate to say it but your situation is why the konami code existed and made you enter it twice. I think you are pretty much out of luck unless you want to spend a little money on it to have someone with the right equipment create a new nand and flash it for you. However YOUR old nand.bin or keys.bin would be required.

Im figuring just buying a new wii altogether would be an easier option for me. Where do you suggest finding a wii with the correct serial to install boot2?

Can i ask why you were doing a Nand restore?
Problem with this place is the tutes are that damn good that one could end up not learning as deep as they should... Dont just rely on the tutorials understand your Wii...

The better question would be why was he doing a NAND restore with BootMii installed as an IOS... it shouldn't have been attempted.

True nightstash but i am interested why he was attempting it in the first place. ie. what stuffed up so he decided to try it etc...

I am at a stage where i am learning as much as i can through experimentation but with the echoes of the saftey alot of you guys (WIIHACKS staff) have laid out for us noobs... Admittedly i understand the dangers of NAND restore when Bootmii is installed as an IOS and would never try it but i am fascinated how peeps end up in this position to risk it...
