Black Screen At Startup - DarkWii Theme, PriiLoader, Bootmii Root2 And Downgraded

Okay, First of all, let me start by apologising if this topic is in the wrong section; I'm just going to put it down to being slightly panic-y.

First off, I've used the Indiana Pwns method to install homebrew onto my wii. Other than that, I followed a failtube link guide with NO problems, and all was going perfectly. another failtube link

I installed* bootmii as root 2.
    I have priiloader.

    I downgraded* to version 4.1, from 4.3E

The problem came about when I used Mymenuify to install DarkWii Version 3 _ 4.1, it installed but then my wii just gave me a black screen. After 10 mins of waiting, I decided to turn off my Wii, and back on again, but I still got the black screen...

Priiloader does work when I hold reset and power on, but I'm not sure what to do to fix the problem, and also, when I rename Bootmii(off) to bootmii, the interface works perfectly fine too. I still have the backup of the original SD setup used in the video tutorial I was following too, which had the Nand Backup and the first Bootmii I used...

I'm not sure at all what to do about fixing this black screen, could someone please help?

*I hope this is the correct terminology

Restore your wii with the nand backup.

Sent from my iPod touch using the WiiHacks App

will this restore it back to the way it was before I started messing with it, or back to how it was when I made the backup? And would I be able to try again after restoring it, and just skip out the theme part?

Sorry for all the questions, I just don't want to get anything wrong

It will restore you back to when you made the backup.

As long as you have bootmii as boot2 then you are fine.

    sd:/bootmii
    sd:/nand
    sd:/keys

You can just reinstall your SM if you dont want to have to remod.
    http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-custom-s...mymenuify.html

    In case of a BRICK!!

This will happen if you install a bad theme, install a theme converted with the wrong system menu, or just errors during installation in which case you will get either a blackscreen at startup or a system menu files corrupt message after the health screen.

In most cases hold the reset button at power up to load into priiloader. Boot directly into HBC, and install a working theme or your system menu APP file with Mymenuify to correct the problem.

If for some reason priiloader got corrupted then BOOTMII/BOOT2 and your nand backup is the only thing that can save you. That being said I will say this again.

My common sense actually worked today and brought me to this option, but when trying to boot to the HBC through Priiloader, I couldn't, so I went straight into Mymenuify through either priiloader or the custom bootmii I was using (Can't remember) and installed the original wii theme, but it didn't help at all...

However; Bootmii Recovery is almost finished, and, at risk of jynxing it, I dare say it's working...

    Thank you though.

You could have used cboot2 to run wad manager and install the SM. No big deal though, at least you had boot2.
