got a wii here that has a modchip in it i dont know which one.
all i have on the sd card is a bootmii folder with files armboot bootmii and ppcboot.elf
when i turn the wii on it goes to a menu with wii the homebrew channel sd card and settings
i cant boot to the wii dashboard ?
when i click on the wii or the homebrew channel the screen just goes black ?
i have tried booting with bootmini.elf but i cant sync the wii controller to navigate from there ?
any ideas guys ?

You have bootmii has boot2!
Remove the Bootmii folder from the SD card
and store it on your PC! Or simply
Take the SD card out and boot
the wii without the SD card in.

hi not my wii i dont know whats been done.
i copied over the mod pack so when i turn the wii on multi mod manager loads up but i cant navigate ?

But before I go, can you turn the Wii on the the Wii remote?
If not, it's possibly because the Wii has a bad bluetooth module,
and would just need replacing!

Then I'd say the BT module has gone Kaput!
Search Fleabay for one, they are quite cheap!

Aslong as the wiimotes were not synced with that wii the power on check doesn't say much.
You can have a look into the unbricking method with bootmii.
Basically install a new sysmenu etc. and afterwards run through the softmod any wii guide, linked everywhere around.
Not sure about the wiimote syncing (if nothing is running). The above mentioned method can be done with a gamecube controller (wad manager 1.5 MOD (=GC pad enabled), once you enter the normal wii menu after unbricking you can sync your motes and do the normal modding steps (hopefully;)).
