Wii low level bricked, can't even access bootmii/boot2

It's an "LU" model and had bootmii/boot2 installed. It's been getting buggier and buggier over the past year so I reformatted the nand with "ohneschwanzenegger" a couple of weeks ago (and made a backup afterwards) and everything has been working fine since.

Today I go to start it up and I get the same issues I had before (no wifi, blackscreen loading apps from wii menu, random boot up freeze on health screen, difficulty loading bootmii but always able to enter priiloader) so I try to restore my nand with the backup up I made but couldn't access bootmii. So I tried again a few times cause it usually ends up working at some point. Well it didn't, so I tried to get into priiloader but all I get is a solid disk light on boot. No flashes, no disk drive check, no hint of any video signal output, all I get is a dead wiimote and a bright blue disk light.

I was thinking of maybe hooking it up to infectus but I wanted some input from the experts here before I make a decision on it.

Can you turn on wii with wii remote? Im thinking of a bad wifi or bluetooth module or both, unless you installed some wad,s that weren't supposed to be installed :S

I believe bootmii/boot2 should work even wih a bad wifi/bluetooth module. Wads will definitely not stop bootmii, because it starts before the system menu. My best guess is that the boot2 part of the NAND somehow got damaged. Still, I am no expert on this!
Awesome sig picture does not work

That might be the problem. Your dvd drive may be faulty. The wii wont start without a dvd drive working. There could be a lot of things that are preventing your wii from working. Have you installed anything or run any and I mean ANY unusual software over the past few weeks apart from what you usually do?

I'm pretty sure the drive was working cause I tested it a week ago. The bluetooth module still works, and I haven't installed anything out of the ordinary. I agree with Bliepo and think that there is something wrong with the nand and somehow boot2 got damaged or there is something wrong with boot1 in which case there is probably nothing I can do.. The issues I was having before the epic failure were very erratic and resstoring to an earlier nand dump wouldn't fix it. That's why I reformatted it. I also noticed that every time I started having problem with it, the yellow standby light was on. I always keep it off. I think the only thing that can be done is flash it with infectus but I want to make sure I've check everything else before I go ahead and put myself through "Soldering boot camp".

Disable WiiConnect24 and standby mode if you can.
