Question Fully Bricked Wii, Please help a noob.

    Stupid things I regret:

    I have a mod chip so I thought I didn't need boot2 or priloader.
I updated to 4.3 knowing I could just to a restore later if it messed up.
I installed the update that was for PAL Wii's on my NTSC wii. I didn't know it was PAL.
I get no video signal from my Wii (black screen of death).
I tried Savemiifrii and took my gamecube controller apart. It didn't work (I didn't have a higher firmware disc inside the wii at the time if it matters).
My brother is kinda pissed that I haven't fixed it yet.

So. From what I know, I have a couple options:

Try Savemiifii with I disc inside my wii (but there isn't higher firm out?)
    Find a NAND programmer.
Buy Savemii (only $30, but will it work?)
Err... Do most mod chips come with a way to reset your Wii?
That's all I can think of. I'm not going to try to sell it for parts. I need to fix this Wii somehow.

Please tell me all the options! I'm really desperate. Thanks a bunch

Btw, I bricked my wii with that Dance game (don't remember exactly).

    Thanks again.

    Nope

It wasn't a softmod, it was a modchip.

If savemiifrii is not working you are probably screwed, SOL.

If the wii is older you can have the nand reprogrammed, but a newer wii can not be reprogrammed without the nand keys, which you would not have if you did not softmod the wii.

This is an older wii and I'm willing to do whatever it takes, but I don't have the knowledge of how to reprogram the nand. So..

    What tools will I need?
    How much will it cost?
    How do I do it?

    Thanks a bunch for replying.

    Also,

I tried Savemiifrii without a higher firmware needing game inside my wii. As far as I know, there is no 4.4 update, and I wouldn't have been able to save my wii if Savemiifrii worked anyways...

Its cheaper if you have someone else do it.

You don't need a game update to fix via savemiifrii, you can load an exploit from disc in most cases. But if it is not working, send it to a nand programmer.

I'll charge you $30 plus shipping (that is if it is boot2 compatible and you live in the US). You will have about $55 total into the repair. What is your serial number? If it is fixable, I can restore your Mii's and provide you will all your game saves as well.
