    can i unbrick my wii?

i just softmodded my wii today and now its bricked

    menu version is 4.3u

usb loader gx bricked it, everything was working fine, i tried loading a back up and it just went to a black screen and d/c my wii remote and i couldn't shut the wii off with the power button so i unplugged it. i tried the game again and same thing. then i tried another game and it worked, then another and it worked, then another and i played it for awhile. then i went back the the wii menu and went to the usb loaders channel and it went to a black screen and stopped. so i unplugged my wii again and plugged it back in and then... no signal and more no signal and now its bricked

idk if this helps but bootmii was installed as an ios and priiloader was installed but i have no clue what to do. tried turning it on while holding reset but nothing. i used the smash stack exploit to mod it

used this guide and linked files to instal HBC: YouTube - ‪How to Homebrew your Wii using Smash Stack‬‏
used this guide and his file pack for usb loader and everything else: YouTube - ‪How To Play Wii Games From A USB Hard Drive On 4.3‬‏

any help would be really appreciated as i just got this and i'm really bummed...

What do you mean it's easy to fix? You will probably need a nand re-programer for this.
Bootmii installed as a ios is no good.

Well usb loader gx first of all is known to brick wii's.

I dont know if theres much hope for your wii unless you have a nand backup. It may be possible to use the savemiifrii trick but not sure if it will work.

Do you have a nand backup of your wii?

A lot of people have had similar issues and we are not sure what it is causing the problem. Using any type of app can cause a brick.

Quoted form a post by Mauifrog....
All I know is that any app running on cios or ABHPROT has full nand access and any bug could kill the wii. I could be anything, a bug in the loader, a bug in cios, or even a bug in the game as games don't normally run on ios with any permissions.

Are there any other known apps causing this? I'm really worried now. I'm using emulators and cfg usb loader and considering to use wiimc. Everything is in sd card, no channel forwarders.

No only gx at the moment lol
Don't get you pants in a twist....

It was only a statement but in the end you are modding a system that Nintendo never intended you to do.
