3.3K korean wii (not sure whether modchip is installed) wii fit plus bricked

My Wii is korean wii with homebrew installed and i was able to play US mario kart and some japanese games as well as original korean games.I think there is a modchip installed though i am not sure about it.
I recently moved to US San Jose and bought Wii fit plus with balance board.
I inserted the wii fit plus disc and clicked on the load disc channel,it has asked somethings in korean and i just clicked ok and then it was trying to connect to WiFi,however i have never configured wifi.
As it was trying to connect to internet i powered it off and on it again and all i see is Pink and Green Lines nothing else.
The remote is not even connected but i hear the cd being read.
So i assume this is bricked, please let me know if i am wrong.
I just wanted to know if i buy the savemii card will it help me in unbricking the Wii.

Well theres no need to buy the savemii card you can use the savemiifrii trick but if you want to you can buy the savemii card.
So when you turn on your wii does the screen go black and then the colours come up or is it straight away?

And without a disc in the drive, when you turn on does the light slot flash twice quickly?

Ok I think I will go with the savemiifrii trick.
Yes, initially the screen goes black and then these pink and green lines show up.
If I remove the Disc and power on the wii the Disc slot doesn't flash twice quickly.

I read about the bootmii and priiloader rescue methods and tried the Rescue steps and I found that they don't work I guess they are not installed.

Replied using iPhone app got posted twice didnt know how to delete....

You have a semi bricked Korean wii. A wii with Korean system settings with a NTSC-u system menu installed. You can not fix this wii without nand programing, you can not have the nand reprogrammed without the nand keys.

The nand keys can be found in a bootmii backup nand.bin

So,we should take this backup nand.bin file before the Wii is actually bricked. So my wii is completely bricked since I don't have the backup.Am I correct or is there anyother solution for this?

Yes you make the nand.bin with bootmii before the wii is bricked. Sorry, but your SOL.

I am sorry to bring this up, but there may be hope for your wii. It has been reported that patching a USA game header to KOR header will load on semi bricked Korean Wii. I have not tested it myself, but the source is good. I am going to test further.

I made a disc swap with SSBB PAL and fixed the brick. When I start ARC it showed a message error because region was korean and system was USA. I modified the region and save the config. All the swap was made with wode, ok? I donīt know if it will work in drive swap.
Perhaps the wii is fixable after all.
