Unable to boot into system menu-4.3E.WII boots into BOOTMI

I successfully installed HomeBrew channel+USB loader etc for a friend.I used the online tutorials from here.Infact, this WII was not the first. Gave the WII to my friend to play backups from USB.I forgot to remove the SD card , which had all the utilities.

The owner accessed one of the options(guess it's the PRIILOADER) and did something. Now the WII boots into BOOTMI only.I am unable to get the syytem menu. Also , when I try to restore from the Nand backup, I get an error saying the nan.bin is not meant for this WII .

I know for sure that the Nand.bin was backed up from the WII before it was Semi-bricked. Also, when I remove the SD card, I get a black screen. The WII doesn't boot into BOOTMI either.

Any help appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

There's nothing that he could have done from Priiloader that would brick the Wii. Take out the SD card and go into Priiloader by holding down the reset button as you boot. Once Priiloader starts select System Menu hacks and look what all is enabled. The only ones that you need are block online and disk updates. Disable everything else. Report back and let us know.

Are they the remotes that belong to the Wii or are they yours? I they are the remotes that belong to the Wii and you can't turn on the Wii with with them, then it's sounds like a bad bluetooth module.

The WII doesn't go t PRIILOADER , on pressing the RESET button . Just checked the WII and was shocked what I saw. The settings are below.

The WII now has BootMii V1.3
    Stub v 1.1
    Mini v 0.4
    SysMenu : 4.1U boot 1b boot2v2
    NAND FS Usage : 41.8%

Don't know how the menu went to 4.1U.This definitely was on 4.1E

    Do this:

    1. Download this and unpack it to your SD card
    2. Place the SD card in your Wii and boot
    3. Syscheck will start so let it finish
    4. When done, remove the SD card and place it into your computer
    5. Open the SD card and look for a file called "Syscheck.csv"
    6. Open the csv file with WordPad NOT Notepad
    7. Copy and paste the results here

Checked the SD card - FAT32. Wiped clean.Copied the contents.Boot the WII.The output is below :
    IOS Version 36 v16 0X00240010
    IOS Successfully loaded
    sdio_startup() rv=0
    fat_driver: disk init failed
    Pleasec insert SD card
Failed to load boot.dol from front SD card reader.

Looks like this doesn't load Syscheck and henc no CSV file on the SD card.

What kind of SD card are you using? Maybe the one you have isn't compatible.

Also, unless someone else wants to help you out tonight, I wont be available for the rest of the evening. I have to step out. I should be able to help you tomorrow though.

@Krafter:Thanks for your help so far.Much appreciate that.Got an early start tomorrow.Got to hit the bed as well. Will wait to see your advice tomorrow.

The one I'm using is a SANDISK 2GB , normal SD Card. This is time tested in many WIIs.Successfully installed HB+USB etc on many Eur and USA WIIs.

I will try a microSD using an adapter and if I get the CSV file, will post before hitting the bed.
