Quick question computer_man20037...Have you successfully recovered a brick before?

I personally haven't had the chance to successfully recover a bricked wii (This being due to following all guide on this forum and avoiding that ever happening) ... I know a friend who has done it before and told me about it. I have fixed a broken wii drive and installed hbc on two wiis.

Thanks for responding. I was just curious if you actually knew how to fix a brick.

Your welcome I just trying to pitch in and help as much as I could but i guess maybe in this area I need to stay away due to the little lack of experience of actually fixing a bricked wii...

It's cool. But the person you are trying to help should be aware because they are relying on you now.

Well as a last resort what year was your wii made in?

Or even just the serial number. Because if the Universal Brick fixer doesn't work then if the wii is old enough then a programmer can flash bootmii as boot2 and recover your wii.
