    Question about semi-bricking

I accidentally updated my 3.2u wii using a japanese game with a 4.3 update. Now it's semi-bricked. Now,is my new version 4.3j or 4.3u? I'm confused to how I will fix this problem. Thnx

That sucks, if you don't have HBC or any forwarder channels installed your only hope is to load a disc exploit and mod the wii to fix it. I would start by trying to load a USA ntsc-u game exploit like smash stack.

Actually, I already have soft-modded my wii. I already have HBC installed, but I still can't access my system menu settings(still the opera page). I'm confused to what version I currently have because I was able to softmod my wii with an NTSC-U Lego Indiana Jones but when I try to write memos in my wii mailbox japanese characters come out.

Follow my softmod guide, install the SM you like and do the region change step.
