Ok might need a pro for this brick...

Hi All, Ive been a member a short while and have used wiihacks as a resource for years with great results. I recently used Mauifrogs mod any wii guide with the SSBB exploit. This was a practically new wii, less than 1 year old. Everything went fine, homebrew, priloader, hackmii, bootmii and back ups. I have done wii softmods several times for friends, neighbors, family maybe 25 with no problems. The machine had zero issues and lives in a house with a 2 yr old, long story short is they "say" they were using usb loader gx and exiting a game when the screen went black. Priloader wont start, there no warning screen, no sound, just black video. wii turns on with wiimote and sync lights just blink. Tried bootmii on a sd card root, wont start either. Not even a version or region in the corner...just bricked.
my thought is this, I may have left something like MMM on the card and homebrew was opened and someone possibly, innocent 2yr old? started clicking buttons? I find it hard to believe the machine is bricked by corrupted usb loader or game, I have 20-25 wiis out there and never had seen this, yes some had issues but never a brick.
I have a Nand back up and Dvd keys is this the only chance of saving this wii? who can use these back ups to attempt a recovery? Any help or advise is much appreciated, thank in advance!

Sounds like the famous gx killed my wii brick.

All the ones we have had like this needed nand programming.

Where in the world are you?

Thanks for moving to proper forum, I have gone thru the save mii checklist and I arrive at the nand programmer needed. Anyone in USA willing to fix please let me know details, and thanks for the help. On another note, I know I have heard GX is out the door but never knew it could be responsible for a brick. All of the ones I have out there run 938 version of GX loader. I`m assuming I need to get them back and use config or coverflow loader?

I ran GX rev 938 for a long time w/o any issues. I did have a few of my friends running it and made sure to upgrade them all to GX 2.0. CFG is great too, but I like GX and also did not want to have to spoonfeed all of them instructions on cfg. {Guide} Preparing and Installing USB Loader GX

As far as NAND programming goes, bad_ad is the man for that info. i know we have some US members that can do it for you.

streamlinehd, krafter, DeadlyFoez, all three are in the states and can help you.

Anyone using gx should use v2 as the older revs have caused a few random bricks, like this one. Personally I will stick with cfg, but gx v2 should be good.
