Trying to unbrick my cousin's wii.

-He unplugged it during a system update.
    -It IS a launch wii.
-No video output when it turns on.
    -Is not hacked/no homebrew

Now, my wii is hacked, and I do have a bootmii backup for that one.

    Any suggestions?

SaveMii might help, but only if it were sub-4.3. Option 3 on Mauifrogs sticky

    Read that thread tho.

You can try savemiifrii, but I doubt it will work. Since the wii is a virgin without boot2 bootmii, you'll need to reprogram the nand. It can be done yourself if that is something you can do. I think it is hard, so best bet is to send it to someone to fix it for you. Contact streamlinehd, krafter, or DeadlyFoez in the USA, and Bad-Ad84 in England, or erikie in the Netherlands.

Well, it looks like this will help, one way or another.
