Thread: semi bricked? i hope anyway!

    followed the steps extracted MMM-58-61_Hackmii_0.8_CB2.zip to sd boot wii up then i get a constant rolling flashing screen with what looks like sum code in the background.

    Edit sd:\bootmii\bootmii.ini
    Try to change VIDEO=PROGRESSIVE to VIDEO=NTSC

    Or have a look at the bootmii.ini from your bootmii files and see what that one looks like.

    That loads bootmii, but not cboot2 MMM?

    If that is the case, dl the hackmii installer and load the bootmini.elf from the bootmii sd menu. Install the HBC, update boot2 bootmii and exit, you'll be in the HBC, then do the rest of the guide.

    i dl hackmii installer put bootmini.elf sd tried to load it from bootmii menu using the power button to navigate to the sd option hit reset button bootmini.elf pops up i select it then then it takes me back to screen with the four options wii, hbc, sd, and settings

    OK, if you can't get it to work, do this. Probably give you less of a headache
    Do this- Make a new nand backup with bootmii. Use this tool to format the nand.bin and install 4.1u-
    ohneswanzenegger - GBAtemp.net
    Be sure to add the -r74 exe, you'll need both dl's.
    Then check the nand.bin for error with this-
    nandBinCheck - GBAtemp.net
    Then load bootmii and restore the nand
    Then follow my guide.
