    Bricked wii

    This site has warned everyone not to mess around with isos under 200.So what did i do as i was downgradeing 4.2 to 4.1. I was having trouble with loading wads. first two loaded but 3rd didnt and then in frustration i loaded iso 70. Then blanck screen with no priloader. IS there any help out there for this nood

    Does it stays at a black screen at boot?

    I dont know much about bricks but, did you installed bootmii as boot2?

    Well, you have the following options for recovery:
    1) If you have bootmii as boot2 (disc drive light will flash twice if you power on the wii when you have it) and a NAND back-up, just restore the NAND back-up.
    2) If you have bootmii as boot2, but no NAND back-up, use this guide: Fully Brick, Bootmii/boot2 installed but No Nand Backup? Solution Here!
    3) If you don't have bootmii as boot2, but do have a NAND back-up of that wii, or it's keys, you can use a NAND programmer to restore the wii, or you can ask one of our members who have a NAND programmer.

    when i softmoded i saved file but since then my pc died so the hard drive got formated for this pc. Ive tryed to rescue files hand have found some key files but not sure what they are.Could someone tell me what these files are called and how to use them please

    the files that are made when doing a nand backup are

    keys.bin
    nand.bin

    what do i do with these files? Just put them on sd aqnd they will load?

    Well, first, you need to check whether bootmii is installed. Turn the wii on and look how many times the disc drive light flashes. One flash = no bootmii, two flashes = bootmii.

    only flashed once so no bootmill so what next
