If you have bootmii as boot2 (which you should know for sure you do before even thinking about messing with themes!) You need the bootmii folder on the root of your sd card for it to launch. You will also need your keys.bin and nand.bin on the root of the card in order to restore it.

It's probably more likely the FAILTUBE theme that you installed. I highly doubt you got a bad wad channel from gbatemp but just in case I removed that link as well.

Are you sure you have Bootmii installed as Boot2? How many times does your drive light flash when you turn it on? Do you have Priiloader installed?

It may not be a bad theme but its possible it's for a different region and different system menu than the ops. Still bootmii boot2 should still be present, sounds more like an update

The problem wouldn't be a different region by itself (would have caused a semi-brick) but it is very possible it was a different menu version.

So u don't think a wrong region theme could be the cause?

A wrong region would just prevent you from entering the settings menu. Thats what a semi-brick is. I have done exactly that when playing with themes on my Boot2 Wii.

I have tried the same an it was a black screen. Maybe using an NTSC theme on a pal wii ha a different outcome, kinda interesting though

That is one kind of semi-brick.
