I don't get how you would brick by just patching IOS36. As I said before even if you did you will can still use SaveMiiFrii to get into the recovery menu. All that is needed for a recovery menu to load with SaveMiiFrii is (in your case) System Menu 4.0 and IOS60 to be installed. That's it. If it doesn't then:

    1. Missing or stubbed System IOS
    2. Missing System Menu
    3. Bad WiFi module.
    4. Unknown hardeware failure

    That explains everything.

Your only hope is if it is Boot2. As I asked in post #15, what are the first 6 digits of your serial number?

If I'm reading Krafter's boot2 Wii serial guide correctly (he'd be the one to confirm though), looks to be possibly/likely boot2 compatible. How'd you get a US Wii and you're in Bahrain?

Your in luck. That Wii is boot2 compatible so there is hope. You can send it off to a programmer to have Boot2 flashed into it to recover or you can attempt the fix yourself but it wont realy be cost efficient for you and requires a lot of skill. Look here at this guide to see what is involved.

    List of known programmers
    1. Bad_Ad84 (england)
    2. Streamlinehd (US, Connecticut)
    3. Krafter (US, Indiana)
    4. erikie (Netherlands (Hoofddorp))
