    Question My 4.2k brick

My Wii is Korea version, I follow the 4.2 guide and successfully softmode the Wii. But later I patch the IOS70, that made the Wii show 003. I can still use Reset+Power to show the menu, but later I forgot what the hxll I did and not the Wii did not show anything when I power on, and Reset+Power does not work anymore.

Any expert can suggest what can I do

    Thanks in advance.

You can try this guide, but it probably won't work: Guide: How to fix Korean 4.2 error: 003 unauthorized device has been detected

Never update a region changed Korean wii.
If you have a region changed Korean wii, updating will result in a brick.
You will receive error 003, which is currently unfix-able. Korean wii models have a LKM######### serial number. If you have one of these, do not update your wii. Also region changed Korean wii users should install cIOS70-v6174.zip, which may prevent "error 003" should you update by mistake. Don't update. SM 4.3 is out, install cIOS80-v6174.zip to prevent any issue. Remember, never update.

Thanks for reply. My Wii changed to 4.2U and works fine. However after I patch the IOS70, it did show 003. I have Homebrew and tried patch the other IOS from NUS, now it won't start at all. I have NAND backup before, is it still able to recover it.

    Thanks again.

Well, if you have a NAND back-up, you might be able to use a NAND programmer to restore the back-up. Or you could send the wii with the NAND back-up to a member of the forum who has a NAND programmer.

Sounds like you installed IOS70 that wasnt patched to remove the Korean checks - therefore you bricked.

With the NAND backup the Wii is repairable as mentioned above.

I patched the IOS70 from NUS, the orignal version is 65535, then I remove all Korean IOS, then I got 003.

I have Homebrew and Prilloader, then I load the DOP-Mii and install the 4.2U menu. After that, the Wii completely brick, power-on but nothing, reset+power nothing.

    How to reprogramm the NAND?

the original version (65535) is a patched IOS and has all the patches you tried to do already applied, but it also has Korean wii check removed too. when you put back another version of the IOS you bought the korean check back.

You're in the Central District of Hong Kong, likely you'd need someone like Bad_Ad84 (UK) or Erikie (The Netherlands) to reprogram your NAND if you have no one local to do this for you.
