I don't believe he has DARKCORP or cIOSCORP. I said something about that in post 26 and he didn't respond to it. That's when he started talking about a modchip.

He has dip patched system iOS and should be able to autoboot recovery disc with fictional drive. That is if anything will boot at all.

Thanks mauifrog. He should be able to boot a recovery disk if he gets his hands on a drive. He gave me the mym file he used and I verified his problem. I was able to recover by autobooting and reloading the SM. See post #62.

I dont have darkcorp and im not sure if i have cioscorp.
I will have access to a working soft modded drive this weekend that i will be able to swap out for my drive.
Does my wii need the cioscorp or does the drive need it because i can put darkcorp and cioscorp on the drive that i am going to swap for.
Also did i need to have darkcorp or cioscorp to have the dip patched system ios or is darkcorp seperate?

DARKCORP is just another way to softmod. It enables your Wii to backup games straight from the Disk Channel if you have a compatible drive (you do not). It's not something that would be placed on the drive. It is installed into your Wii and replaces all (or most) of your IOSs.

DARKCORP is a predecessor to cIOSCORP..

If you followed the guide you said you did, then you should be good to go.
