Mauifrog, these type of bricks generally don't autoboot. You make it sound like he will be able to autoboot and fix his Wii without any problems. and that is a stretch.

IF he can autoboot, he MIGHT be able to fix his Wii. those are big if's and mights

If that is the case he is sol, but he should try. Still sounds like he ran dop-iOS 11.4 or so, causes this issue.

Edit: try this, load the sm press home and reload the system menu. See if your chanels work

Oh yes, considering he has already bought the chip, he should definitely try.

If it works i may have found a solution to this problem i will probably get my chip next week so i will keep you posted. And sorry for the bump im new to forums lol
Yes I've tried with savemiifrii and a modchip. The thing you don't seem to understand is that a modchip doesn't do anything magical. The only thing a modchip does is allow you to boot backup discs which is also what dip patched IOS do. Since you do have dip patched IOS, I don't understand why you would spend money on a modchip in the first place. Why not just try mauifrog's MMM250 disc and see if it works. If it doesn't work then the modchip isn't going to solve anything.

Also, it's impossible to recover from a full brick with a modchip.

Well ok i will try. The brick fix that i seen was, when he would turn on his wii nothing would happen at all, just a black screen no noise, no health screen. Then he plugged installed the modchip and plugged in the GC controller and turned on the wii pressing the dpad buttons, savemii loaded and he used a wad manager burned disc and uninstalled a bunch of wads and restored his system menu. Then he exited, turned off the wii, and put a game in. He turned the wii on again using save mii again, and put in a game then let it sit for a while (im presuming to let the wii update), then turned it off and back on and it worked? was that not a full brick? I am new to the Bricked wii community haha :P and i will try all methods lol i loved my wii and a modchip costs less than a new wii and if i do have to buy a new wii i would by a boot2 compatible one for sure haha

If recovery mode came up it wasn't a full brick. Your best bet is to try the MMM250 disc or other recovery disc. It's a long shot that it will work but is likely your only option at this point.

Can probably give that edit button a try, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

Since you followed by guide you should be able to have the NAND reprogrammed with your NAND.bin. You did make one right, you didn't think I was joking did you?
