Yeah by flashing the NAND with a working backup or flashing boot2 Bootmii if capable.

    Here's your problem:

    • You don't have boot2 Bootmii or Priiloader installed.
    • You have system menu 4.3 (only game exploits work)
    • You can't run any game exploits because you can't run games

If you had Priiloader, boot2 Bootmii, or even a different system menu it would be easily repairable.

Hey Guys i just tried to use a GC controller to try the savemii method and savemii works.

If i installed a wasabi DX chip into my wii with autoboot capabilities would i be able to soft mod my wii and restore the original system menu by using the smash stack method???

I have used the wad manager before to restore my system menu and it worked perfectly lol thats kinda the reason i decided to keep going with the themes lol :/

I haven't seen this issue myself but I do believe Streamlinehd knows his stuff. He said autobooting won't work. If you buy a modchip then keep in mind you are most likely wasting your money.

Yes but the savemii method bypasses all other system functionality allowing autobooting to be succesful. Im going to try it once my modchip is delivered. Has StreamlinHD tried to use a combination of savemii and a chip? Because I have personally seen someone with a fully bricked wii fix it using the savemii with a new wasabi modchip. If it works i may have found a solution to this problem i will probably get my chip next week so i will keep you posted. And sorry for the bump im new to forums lol

I'll let Streamline answer that for sure but I'm guessing he has.

I'm sure he will stop by soon.

On the wasabi website it says its able to boot problematic games such as ssbb so maybe i can run smash stack with this chip? Wasabi Wii Modchip - Compatible with DMS, D2A, D2B, D2C, D2C2, D2E - Upgradable from DVD - Simply the best

If the disk channel doesnt work, you are extremely unlikely to autoboot.

The savemii still uses the system menu and ios's to boot, little is bypassed....

"Problematic games" in wasabi dx listing is nothing to do with your issue. It just means SSBB is dual layer and the wasabi will play it. Nothing more.

    edit:

also, you have not seen someone with a fully bricked wii use a savemii, simple as that.

You seem to be ignoring the advice of people who do this everyday and just deciding on what you want to hear. This is just going to end up costing you money.

Does your wii DVD drive read burned disc? If it does, burn the MMM250.iso, load it from the recovery menu via savemiifrii, then do chapter 2 of my softmod guide. If your drive will read DVD-r you can just load it from recovery menu since you have dip patch. Or install that modchip and load a disc exploit from the recovery menu and reinstall your system menu. You did not run dop-iOS v11.4ish did you?
