Sorry man, you may want to wait and see if Bad_Ad84 has anything to add before you do that but I think it's dead.

see what happens when you power it without the nand chip. (make sure you clean the pads first so theres no short)

Nothing connected to the board AT all. Like Streamline, I had one like this but it was the BT module - that removed module will cause the same issue in any Wii you try it in too.

Otherwise, without seeing the board theres not much I can suggest.... could possibly be the AV encoder as those like to blow, but I do not think that is within your skill set to replace (yet at least!). This whole Wii repair thing isnt always as easy as it looks from the outside, black screen can be caused by a lot of things - as you are finding out.

You could always send it over to me rather than scrapping it and I can take a look when getting some spare time.

Ok so i woke up this morn and saw this reply and i think i was just to frustrated last night and i went and plugged it in and tada the green light stays on now!!! that is with no BT - WIFI - NAND... so i guess what does that mean??? Bad NAND chip!!! or just bad fitting from factory or bridge that i did not notice???

could possibly be the AV encoder as those like to blow, but I do not think that is within your skill set to replace (yet at least!).
    YES I KNOW!!!! lol

So i think i will wait for my "supplier" (lol) to ship me a nand chip and refit that one to this MOBO and see what happends....

    Ok... Update!!!

I took the NAND off the Board of this wii and tried to put it on another wii.... Solid Blue Light! Uggg.... After the Help from Bad_ad in the IRC... We figured it was the wrong boot1 so i removed the NAND again and Flashed 1a into it!! Still no go!!! So im like Hrmmm maybe THAT board is bad... Well I removed the NAND again and put 1b back on it for bootmii and refitted it to the board that was shorting out!!! and what ya know!!! It worked!!!! WEIRD!!! After some other problems with the drive, and help from BAD_AD Its all Good and just took the NSMB Update!!! The Help in the IRC was Just what i needed.... THANKS

So after this im waiting on a blank NAND chip from BAD_AD to try to refit on the other MOBO that i have to see if i can fix that one next!!! (and no Joostin you will not get that one either - - LOL)

Anyway's Thanks to Everyone that HELPED!!!!
