Yes, I know. I have been using it every since I found out how much of a fail the paste flux is.

    I edited my post slightly.

I saw you used some flux right at the start, but while you are having trouble getting rid of bridges etc, you should have put down more flux. It evaporates very quickly.

And you dont need my permission to use my advice, it was passed down to me by who ever has helped me over the years and it will be passed on by me to whoever will listen.

oh and I recommend these: 1 pcs Kester Rosin Flux Pen 951 for Solar Cells Panel - eBay (item 140488411393 end time Jan-08-11 08:07:10 PST)

That is the same flux I use (as there are different types with different results) and I prefer the pens to just using a dropper.

Now im going to bed after a successfully thread jacking.

very interesting soldering videos. I don't understand how just wiping solder across the pins gets you a good bond though. Seems like it would be a cold joint. Obviously it worked and my electronics/soldering experience is very very minimal. Cool to see either way.

NAND flashing and simple don't belong in the same sentence but good luck and keep us posted.
Yes, it came up with the version, but doesn't seem to do anything with Wii Sports in their either.

I'll consider NAND flashing some more, and see where I can source an Infectus chip, I do know OzModChips.com offer a $139 unbricking service - that seems to contain a high labour premium (but could be worth it for some people).

I had to fix that for you. This is the second post where I've seen a bizarre message in connection with an attachment in about as many days.

once you change the tip...and the liquid flux makes all the difference in the world. you'll find it is so much easier..and solid.
