Not sure what type of brick!

Noticed the kids not playing the wii lately so I decided to warm it up..

I get 2 blue led flashed when booting to black screen w/out Sd card. It will boot to Bootmii with the sd installed. I have tried the recovery mode and nothing seems to work. All my boots from the SD card results in " failed to boot".

When I go into HBC I get a pop up to update but the start/reset options do not work.

What would my first options be? What type of brick is this?

Quick question. I have read that it maybe the BT module. If I Cannot power on the wii with the mote does that mean its a BT module? The mote does not work for anything right now.

Most Likely that is the problem if you cant start the wii with the remote...

When you are in the HBC can you select anything... APPS or anything???

    Fixed

Well I pulled only the front off the console and moved the protruding tab from the module up and down slightly. It seemed to have two positions. When i moved it up (slight click noise) everything booted right up. Thanks for the replies.

Now off to see if anything was updated.
