    Us Semi-Brick

After attempting to delete Sonic 4, I waited for at least thirty minutes...

And the game never finished, so I hard shut it off.

Now the channel screen just freezes, I can still point around the screen, I can still make the wii menu come up, but when I press it, it stays black.

    I have 4.2U bannerbomb v2.

I already searched but it was always slightly different, rather it was the saves data menu that wouldn't boot mostly. Or fro
An SD card, this is the wii's internal channel screen,

It happened after Sonic 4 wouldn't delete so I shut it off.
Any help will be appreciated. Just tell me how to get the channel screen to load.

you have to give some more input.
so when you press the wii settings menu, what do you see?
if it as pop up with some kind of error (opera error screen or white with 3 dots or other strange stuff) you are indeed semi-bricked and can use the solving guide for it.

with your description i thought you are trying to do channel management stuff with having bannerbomb still on your sd card

The Wii Menu, is fine, everything on the wii works just fine, but when I go to Settings/Data Management/Channels.....FREEZE! I can still point everywhere, and I can bring up the home menu with the home button, but when I click it, it stays black.

I know why this happened at least, Cause of the shutdown during the infinite deletion of Sonic 4.

I wanna access bootmii, backup nand since my other nand got deleted, and I heard reinstalling the System Menu 4.2U would help, but I wanna get nand, and I strangely forgot how to bring up bootmii... I'll figure that out,

What I need is some pointers to fix this problem, before I accidentally mess it up.

Additional info is that after I shut it off, Sonic 4 doesn't appear of the Wii Menu as a channel, and when I viwed the data screen with my saved data, and the blocks space indicates Sonic 4 Never got deleted.....

    BUMP!

Used the guide but it still didn't help, it took me to 4.1U

As I said above, the freeze at the channels menu still occurs, can this be fixed? I searched for issues like this and the thread starter never solves it.

I'm wondering if its even possible to fix.

    Thanks to the guide,

I have Priiloader, Bootmii ios, and as Boot2, NAND, and blocked updates.

But the channel screen still freezes. Please any help is appreciated.

    Backup and format your sd-card
Then go to system settings and do a system format.
You will lose all saves and installed channels, so you may want to backup anything important first.
