    need help bricked

i was softmodding a wii for a friend i believe it was on 3.2 or 3 i was using dogeggs guide as i have done many times before. I installed bootmii as boot 2 . when it came time to upgrade system menu i installed 60 patched and went on to install system menu 4.1u. i kept getting error so i hit - to uninstall and on my next try it installed fine but at that point my wii remote lost sync. I restarted the wii and only get a black screen. I put my sd card in and started boot mi used homebrew channel to try and use wad manager but could not use it with the gamecube controler. I went into dop mii and it told me i had system menu 4.1u installed.i tried to reinstall it but it said the wii did not support this region system menu. i tried the same with all the other regions and it said the same thing. As i kept trying to navigate threw homebrew channel i kept getting the update message so to get it out of the way i hit yes and installed the newer homebrew channel and after that i cannot acces the homebrew channel any more. I also tried to recover from the nand backup but for some reason i being in a rush last night i must have missed that step because it tells me nand bin is from another console. Thanks in advance

    You messed up your setting.txt
Backup and format the sd card
    Extract CB2_BB_System-Settings-Replace_MOD.zip to sd:\
    Copy sd:\ntsc\setting.txt to sd:\
Boot the wii, use your gc controller
    Replace your setting.txt
    That should do the trick.

You should include the setting.txt editor in that pack, just in case people want to keep their serial number correct.

Not that is makes much difference, but I am perfectionist at times.

The setting.txt holds the language, region setting, etc for the wii. You messed it up when you uninstalled the system menu, you can't do that.
