I really hope this can be fixed.

    Hi guys and gals,

So today I was trying to softmod my friends 4.3 wii. I have done this many times with success again and again. Today seems to not been one of my lucky days.

    This is what happened.

So I was doing the thing with the Indiana Jones method. All went fine, got the homebrew channel. Than I did the MMM thing by going to bootmii from the homebrew channel. Installed all the wads. Downgraded the thing to 4.2 and everything was going fine and dandy.

Untill I followed the instructions (from this website) for priiloader installation. The hack.ini file came from the bundle in the softmod 4.3 thread. So I did that by going to App install in MMM (or something like that), picking priiloader 0.4. Installation went fine and starting priiloader by pressing the reset button at startup worked. It functioned pretty weird however. I couldn't go to homebrew channel and some options didn't work at all.

So what did I do -_-. I went to app installer again from MMM, and installed priiloader again but now with priiloader 0.2. It worked for me with that one a long time ago so I just went installing with priiloader 0.2 over the allready existant priiloader settings I allready had, without caution.

Result, my wii is bricked, priiloader doesn't work.

I came so far with everything without making a NAND backup. Did I install something else throughout the proces that could maybe help me? I installed all the WADS so I don't know if there's anything among the files I installed that could possibly be to unbrick.

Thanks in advance guys, I really hope this can be fixed

Im not sure about a solution for your problem and im not trying to rub salt in the wound but you cant access HB from priiloader 0.4 . It is a known issue. You get to hb by the" launch a channel option".

Without a nand backup you are pretty stuffed. Maybe BadAds will be able to throw some light on the situation when he pops on the forum next time.

That doesn't sound all too nice , hope he shows up quick. But if it's impossible to do anything myself, could I send this wii to someone who can?

I read somewhere in the forum (can't remember where), but if you want to reload the Priiloader you had to reinstall System Menu. I'd continue from there - let us know how it turns out.

reinstalling your system menu will wipe out priiloader installation

What do you mean with continue from there ? I start my wii and the only thing I see is a black screen. Please clarify

Do you think I have savemiifrii ?

Edit: I mean do you think i'd be able to get this to work?

    AutoBoot Discs

    To use these you need:

    1) Mod chip or have cioscorp installed.
    2) System menu IOS needs the trucha bug present.
    3) Gamecube controller to do the savemiifrii hack.
    4) Bootmii as an IOS (for bootmii autoboot only)

    Edit2: I don't have a modchip btw
