Bricked Wii, persisting blue light.. HELP!

Hiya guys, I'm kinda new here. I really really really need some help here.

The problem is actually the fact that when I push the power button on the wii the blue disc drive light lights up and stays on the entire time.. I get no screen whatsoever. It started yesterday in the evening. This morning I tried it again and it started normally. I got into the Bootmii screen... Silly as I am I was trying to continue to system menu.. Got a black screen again. So I turned the Wii off and tried it again. I succeeded in entering the Bootmii screen and this time I tried to restore a NAND backup I still have. But to my surprise the bootmii restorer didn't start (you know, the little white block didn't move turning greys into greens). Do any of you guys know a solution to this problem?

    short summary:
9/10 times of powering up I get no screen and blue disc drive light lights up
1/10 of the time I succeed in getting into Bootmii, but it does not seem to work?...

    please help me..

    Hardware failure.

Solid drive light is caused by wrong boot1/boot2 being flashed or a hardware issue. as you can get into bootmii sometimes, id say its not that.

I have a couple of wii boards that do this and have been unable to find the cause as of yet.

Is it perhaps possible that the NAND unit inside my Wii has somehow gotten loose and not connecting properly?
