    Question my wii wend brick i think?

    a couple of months ago i was playing with my wii wend my wii fell down and wend i turn it back on it was in a black screen i tough it was just over heated or something but today i try to play a game wend i turn it on the screen was still black so did it brick or did something happened to it wend it fall i dont want to go to a store and repair it couse am afraid they will put the latest update and i wont be able to playing my back up games what should i do

    moved to the actual bricked section, but you were close.

    so your wii fell, but you think it got overheated when you saw the blackscreen...?

    It is possible that when the wii fell, you knocked the bluetooth module or wifi module loss. Try to open up the wii and reseat these modules.

    if the console was chipmodded, check for loose/broken/shorted wires (connection), as well.
    belie or not, i've seen a DVD-Rom with D2CPro, and the wires are of 40awg magnet wire ! look like a spider living in there.....Wooo~~~
