    bannerbrick

    Hey,

I have a chip in my wii, but don't know wich one. Also I softmodded my a wii a while ago. I believe it was when bannerbomb was released. Because of my chip I didnt use the softmod so I start using the sd card for something else.
Now when I turned my Wii back on (after a long time) the screen freezes after pressing "A"
(the screen "press A to Continue" burns into the tv). Also once in while the blue disc lid start to lighten up.
I tweaked my GC-controller and all i get is a black screen with 4.3(eur) in the bottom corner.
I don't have acces to backup files nor preinstalled rescueprograms
Is someone familiar with this problem?

You might want to post this in the Bricked Issues Section to get more useful information.

    EDIT:
Krafter, you beat me to it.

I've tried Universal unbrick disc v2 and nintendos official wii backup disc v1.31 but nothing happens. The screens stays at 4.3(eur)

I can hear the UUDv2 and the official backup disc reading but nothing happens.

Hold + - at the health screen then press A while holding, if the system menu loads- go to the system settings and do a system format. You will lose all of your saves, so if you care you can softmod your wii first and backup all of the saves with savegame manager. Just use my guide below if you like.

When did you update to 4.3? What guide to you use to softmod your wii? Did you install cioscorp?

You can test for priiloader by holding reset and turning on the wii while holding.

    Otherwise read this

Post number 6 and 5 are probably your only options. 6 is simpler.
