You can try, but I don't think it will work.

now My Wii just bricked too. my son opened a game from the (CFG usb loader) and it blacked out and not booting now, I am thinking that I probably mess up somewhere during the process since both were done identical and both are bricked. I am not sure what went wrong? I dont think its a case of bad luck! any advice what should I check first ? I was wondering how many times a Wii can be recovered with the nand backup ? is it possible that some of my games in the HDD are corrupt ?

Before you restore it, I would backup the bricked wii's nand and upload it somewhere. Then see if some smart people can look at it and figure out why it would have bricked.
You can restore the nand many many time without issue.
Run this before you restore your nand
    CB2_BB_SysCheck_1.6.1.zip
Just backup your sd card and format it, then extract that file to the sd card. Boot your wii and syscheck will run and create a cvs report on sd:\
    Post that report here please.

I am not sure I understood right you said "run this before you restore your nand" so I extracted that file and put it in the sd card and boot my wii and what I got is this on the upper left side :
    Cboot2 dol loader V16
    ios version 2 V16
    0x00020010
    failed to load IOS

It's very odd that this has happened to two different Wiis. If you're able to upload the bricked nand, make sure the keys are attached as well so it can be evaluated. It would be nice to find out what's causing this to happen. After you restore, I would remove both usb loaders, maybe they're conflicting with each other somehow. Why do you need two of them anyway? I use USBLoaderGX rev921 and have never had any issues loading games and certainly never had any corruption problems.

There's got to be something particular with how you setup both Wiis that's causing this problem.

This looks like the nand is blank, if you have a look in bootmii on the info page. You should get a nand FS usage of 3.3%
I think something went wrong with the FAT of the wii so the wii thinks it is blank

I put the nand backup today I got to recover it and at some point I got this:
    bootmii V1.3
    stub V 1.3
    mini V0.4
    console ID xxxxxxx
    sysmenu 3.2 U
    Nand FS usage 53.6%
Now I can see the wii menu and the homebrew but the homebrew is empty. I guess I should got to the tutorial and start in chapter3 to make it all work again

I am trying to figure out how to upload the nand. I had two usb loaders because I heard somebody saying that you could have as many loaders as you want. I was even trying to add wiiflow to it but never got around to it. recently I changed the hard drive from wbfs to fat32.

What about your neighbors? Did you format their HDD to fat32 as well?

Maybe something to do with the configuration file for the loaders. What versions exactly are you using? I think I will do some testing.

The loaders aren't malicious so I think it may be a bug from changing formats.

my HDD used to be wbfs but while I was doing my neighbors wii he bought a HDD that I made fat32 right out of the box. then I proceeded to convert mine back from wbfs to fat 32. hey I just notice that my neighbors Nand backup its slighty bigger than mine his is 535MB and mine is 528MB is that normal? I almost forgot I was using rev 938 for the gx and for the CFG I am sure it was the latest.
