Sometimes get "System Files are corrupt"

I have a softmod wii with 4.1U and sometimes lately when I boot up after the warning screen it hangs for a second and then tells me that the system files are corrupted. At first I thought this was a brick but If i turn the wii off and on again it works. Sometimes it takes 3-5 tries but it works. I didn't uninstall any isos so I dont know why this started happening.

See if it does it when you enter the system menu in maintenance mode. To enter at maintenance mode press and hold - + at health warning screen until the main menu comes up.

If you don't get the error message in maintenance mode then you may have a mail brick. If you still get the error in maintenance mode, you may be having a problem with a custom channel you installed.

So it may be a mail brick. I received the error without performing maintenance mode and when I did it, it has worked since. How do I repair a corrupted message?

    Download MMM_FIX_4.1U.zip
Extract contents to freshly formatted SD card
Enter SM in maintenance mode (press and hold + - at health screen until SM comes up)
    Load MMM from HBC
    Choose Wad Manager
Choose to install all wads (press 1)
    Make sure everything installs successfully

Install Priiloader prior to exiting MMM
Choose App Manager -> Priiloader and the installer will start.
Follow Instructions to install Priiloader and then exit to SM.
    Fixed

I think it started after I installed a shop channel wad to download the netflix app. Yeah, that sounds about right. I have the exact same problem as the OP. And I am using 4.1u. Would getting a report be helpful? If so, how do I get one?

Are you getting the message or just a black screen?

    Edit:
If it is a banner brick from a bad wad then:

    1. Press and hold the reset button while you power up the wii. This will bring you into the priiloader menu.
    2. Select and boot into HBC.
    3. Load wadmanager and select ios249
    4. Navigate sd card/wad and select the offending wad.
    5. Use D-pad to switch between install and unistall set it to uninstall.
    6. Press A to perform uninstallation
Warning, do not uninstall ANY IOS LOWER THAN 200!!!
    7. press home button to return to hbc. Return to wii menu.

If for some odd reason you are unable to uninstall the wad with wad manager, you can use anytitle_deleter_mod to unistall that bad wad(channel). Here again do not uninstall ANY IOS LOWER THAN 200!!!
To run a system check if you have cboot2:

    Post that report here
If syscheck does not load, note what happens and post it here.
