Using a savemiifrii would help give me a better picture of your issue however you don't need one to try what I posted. If that doesn't fix your issue, you may have a wi-fi problem and the GC controller would help me diagnose that. If you don't have one easily available then just follow the instructions in my last post and lets see where that gets you.

The GC remote was simply to give me more info as the only info I have so far is: deleted IOS249 and have a black screen. Both of which have nothing to do with each other.

This will change it to 4.1U which is the SM I recommend you stay on. The wad pack will install IOS60 patched, IOS70 patched, IOS80 patched so really you can safely have SM 4.1, 4.2 or 4.3 however we recommend using SM 4.1 since the others have no benefits at all.

As I said, follow my instructions and install all wads with MMM. This will leave you with SM 4.1U and should fix your issue unless you have a hardware problem.

OK that may be your problem. This might be a job for the NAND formatter. Let's try one more thing first just give me a minute please.

In the pack you downloaded there's a folder called wad (SD:\wad)
    Replace the system menu-NUS-v449.wad
    with this System_Menu-v481.wad.zip
This is system menu 4.2U but if my what I suspect is going on it won't work either. Give it a try and let me know what happens.

    read my revised previous post.

If that doesn't work you will have to use the NAND Formatter see this guide - Using NAND Formatter to completely Re-install your Wii

If you don't have a retail disc with SM 4.1U on it you can use my MMM pack - see post #186 in the NAND formatter guide.

I sided with the "op doesnt know what hes doing and more happened here than explained" option, rather than wifi in this instance

Especially as he was uninstalling IOS's at the time.
