Not all SD cards work with both Homebrew Channel and with BootMii, some will work with only HBC or only BootMii, some will work with both, and some are not even compatible at all. A Sandisk 2GB is a good choice.

I re-formatted my SD card and tried the process again. It worked with Bootmii this time and I was able to make my Nand and Keys files, but it wouldn't work with HBC. Guess it's time to go buy a Sandisk.

Will I have to go through the whole process again or should I just copy the files from my current SD card to the Sandisk card and start my wii with the Sandisk card and copied files?

    Thanks!

No need to redo anything, as long as you can copy the already created files to your new SD card. But, on the other hand, I would still store the first first NAND backup in a safe place. If it makes you feel better, make another NAND backup with the new SD card, you can never have too many NAND backups. I make one every once in a while, and place it in a folder with a description of what's installed and the date.

I rock a couple of these.

    They work with everything.
