You just discovered the hard way why we don't recommend themes. You could try using savemiifrii. Look at this guide, near option 3: OH SH*T: Black Screen of WII!!!. I hope you can fix it. Learn from this and install priiloader and bootmii as boot2 (if possible) and stop using themes.

Why would you even bother messing around with a theme without at least having Priiloader? Not that I'm saying Priiloader would've saved you but at least you would've made some sort of attempt. The wiimote not syncing in this case isn't a good sign at all and you may be SOL. Try savemiifrii and see if you're able to access recovery mode or not. Do you have a backup of your nand? When you say you didn't have boot2 does that mean you couldn't install Bootmii as boot2 or does that mean you just didn't have it installed as boot2?

I agree with streamlinehd that installing themes without any brick protection at all is not advisable. If you do have a NAND back-up and the recovery menu doesn't work, then some guys here on the forum can fix it for you using a hardware NAND programmer. For a price off course.
